Ease of Use and Integration

The Array TMX is simple to install and offers intuitive configuration and management through either the Array Pilot™ GUI or a familiar command line interface. Using the administration toolkit, network managers can view the status for a wide range of system parameters and enable both virtual and real services on the fly. The Array TMX may be automated using either SNMP or XML-RPC management options, and for ease of integration is engineered to either complement or replace existing network devices.

Increased Server and Bandwidth Efficiency

Offloading compute-intensive processes - SSL encryption, establishing TCP connections, etc. - while caching and compressing application traffic consolidates server requirements by up to an order of magnitude to provide significant savings. Additionally, dynamic compression improves bandwidth efficiency by up to five times – greatly reducing the transmission cost for exiting traffic and/or allowing increased traffic over existing links.

Array TMX Series appliances are available in four product platforms to meet the needs of any size organization or deployment. Each provides the benefits of improved application performance, availability, and security; each features full integration for unprecedented simplicity, scalability, reliability, and the lowest total cost of ownership.

Unlike other vendors, Array’s integrated functionality doesn’t mean that you’re locked into purchasing more than you need. You can start with a base model TMX Series appliance that includes L4-7 server load balancing, connection multiplexing, WebWall ä security, and N+1 clustering – and make incremental investments as needed, investing as you go for such features as SSL acceleration, caching, compression, link load balancing, and/or global server load balancing. Our solutions are designed to complement existing network devices, working seamlessly with both hardware and software. New features can be activated with a phone call – eliminating expensive service calls or the need to install new hardware as required by conventional point solutions. The following three software bundles are available as an alternate purchasing option, providing higher value for common applications and configurations:

Web Accelerator Bundle – Base + Caching + Compression

Integrates features that dramatically improve download performance for business-critical Web content.

A Web server front end, the TMX Web Accelerator bundle combines high-performance L4/7 load balancing, connection multiplexing, loss-less compression, and HTTP caching to greatly enhance the end-user experience for corporate Web sites and high traffic portals. The Web Accelerator bundle also increases server and bandwidth efficiency while eliminating the need for single purpose networking solutions – removing performance bottlenecks, enabling consolidation, and eliminating cost and complexity in the data center.

E-Commerce Accelerator Bundle – Base + Caching + SSL Acceleration

Integrates features that provide performance, security, and availability for high-volume secure transaction environments.

A Web or application server front end, the TMX E-Commerce Accelerator bundle combines high-performance L4/7 load balancing, connection multiplexing, HTTP caching, and SSL acceleration to provide customers with a faultless online shopping experience. The E-Commerce Accelerator bundle also ensures that sensitive customer data is fully secure, and offers industry-leading availability and scalability for reinforcing customer loyalty and maximizing customer satisfaction and revenue potential.
