Increased Server and Bandwidth Efficiency

Offloading compute-intensive processes - SSL encryption, establishing TCP connections, etc. - while caching and compressing application traffic consolidates server requirements by up to an order of magnitude to provide significant savings. Additionally, dynamic compression improves bandwidth efficiency by up to five times – greatly reducing the transmission cost for exiting traffic and/or allowing increased traffic over existing links.

You can start with a base model APV Series appliance that includes L2-7 server load balancing, connection multiplexing, WebWallTM  security, caching, compression and clustering – and make incremental investments as needed, investing as you go for such features as Link load balancing, and/or global server load balancing.   Array APV solutions are designed to complement existing network devices, working seamlessly with both hardware and software.  New features can be activated with a phone call – eliminating expensive service calls or the need to install new hardware as required by conventional point solutions.
